Terms and Conditions

All fees are quoted in Australian dollars. Any payment made in any other currency must include appropriate bank charges or PayPal charges that are incurred by Ozpeopletrace.

A non-refundable deposit is required in advance of any investigation that is not specifically assigned a firm quote. This disbursement payment is required to defray out of pocket expenses incurred by Ozpeopletrace. Specifically quoted investigations require full payment of all fees in advance.

Ozpeopletrace will work to keep you fully appraised of the progress of your case, and will respond to your communications at the earliest possible convenience.

Ozpeopletrace investigates each search using the most appropriate methods the client's budget allows, as determined by Ozpeopletrace.

Cancellation of a search is at the discretion of Ozpeopletrace. Once a search has commenced, no refund will be considered.

As our searches are dependant upon initial information provided by our clients, Ozpeopletrace does not accept any responsibility for inaccurate results due to being provided with misleading, inaccurate, or false information.

Should a client conceal from or fail to reveal Ozpeopletrace any information that comes to our attention during an investigation which prevents us from continuing the search in a lawful, legal or ethical manner, Ozpeopletrace reserves the right to act upon that information as we thinks proper.

No guarantee is given that a locate will result from any investigation. The limitations of a client's budget may not allow for the completion of an investigation or the research necessary to complete a search, or it may not be possible to achieve a satisfactory conclusion due to circumstances beyond Ozpeopletrace's control.

Ozpeopletrace is not always able to divulge information obtained during a search. Australian law or certain licensing agreements may prevent the release of information to the client, or Ozpeopletrace may discover in the course of an investigation that the whereabouts of the locate should not be revealed to the client. In this case, the locate will be given the opportunity to decide if their whereabouts will be revealed to the client.
